Abstract
This introduction to a cluster of LatCrit essays published in the California Western Law Review illustrates the coherence three contemporary endeavors in subordination -- 1) overzealous immigration enforcement push to add Latino men to the roster of those targeted by mass incarceration with the introduction of the SB1040 law in Arizona, 2) misguided notions of post racialism and the use of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King to silence racial justice movements, and 3) and the lax enforcement of laws against hate speech. All of these developments push us to reconsider borders, in both a physical and ideological sense.
