Abstract

Environment includes water, air and land, and everything surrounded to us. Therefore, the degradation of environment by various reasons automatically affects the right to livelihood of an individual. Every individual has a right to clean environment which is not only constitutional right but basic human right. The article has following objectives: 1. To study the different constitutional provisions on environmental protection in light of right to livelihood 2. To critically analyse the causes of environmental degradation 3. To study the role judiciary in protection of right to livelihood
