Abstract

This book studies the impact of the new Turkish Code of Obligations of 2012 on Turkish business law, and compares the latter to EU and Swiss law, on which it was initially modeled. Fundamental changes regarding contracts (the new rules on judicial control of standard terms, the moment of the transfer of benefit and risk in sale contracts, the adaptation of contracts in view of changing circumstances, etc) as well as tort law are discussed in depth. The book contains a French and German translation of the new dispositions.
