Abstract

This article was an invited book review of the first book on Media Law in Hong Kong, written by Doreen Weisenhaus with contributions by Jill Cottrell and Yan Mei Ning.

Writing from the perspective of a former journalist in Hong Kong, the article considers the legal remedies that a lack of knowledge of the relevant law often pose for media organizations in Hong Kong and assesses how far this book might be able to remedy that problem.
