Abstract

This piece seeks to present to its readers the fundamental prospects in the digital currency alongside the inherent risks associated with its wide acceptability and surge. It further suggests principles that can be adopted in the wake of crises that might result from the use of the said currency for illegal purpose. Finally, this paper looks at what might become of the digital currency in the near future in view of upcoming and intended regulations.
