Abstract

This paper reviews the challenges, opportunities and prospects for increasing fruit and vegetables in Indian setting. The greatest challenge across the globe is to translate knowledge into sustained behavioral action, with no single solution in sight for enhancing consumption. On a positive note, let’s make a humble beginning by introspecting our consumption pattern and ensuring every opportunity for communicating and eating seasonal F AND V using daily checklist!
