Abstract

We belong to different nations, languages and peoples who were once in sovereign occupation of traditional lands, seas and waterways which were, at the time of Cook's coming, in pristine ecological condition. Now the land, we call ruivi, like the bodies of many Aboriginal people, is fighting for survival against poor , health and environmental devastation. In fulfilling our Aboriginal obligations as traditional owners and carers.for country, many of us who have been dispossessed or have no power to decide the future of our lands, collectively struggle to occupy, reconnect with and determine their future health and wellbeing...
