Abstract

This short article provides an introduction to the Alberta Law Review's Special Issue: The Future of Law School. The special issue is comprised of papers delivered at The Future of Law School conference held at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law in September 2013. Canvassing the thirteen varied and thought-provoking articles that make up the special issue, this introduction places the current moment of concern about the future of legal education in the larger historical context of persistent and productive debate on the purpose and practices of law schools.
