Abstract

This article attempts to distinguish the concept of ‘East’ and ‘West’ on the basis of epistemological paradigms. It focuses to argue by synthesizing the literatures that three epistemological paradigms; science, religion and philosophy are found practiced differently in two geographical halves of the globe.
