Abstract

A school exegesis of one of St. Thomas Aquinas's questions:

Is the will naturally moved toward anything? Yes. A rational being naturally wills the general good alone. But there are many particular goods, and so the will can tack between them without deviating from this natural movement.

Keywords: St. Thomas Aquinas, free will, nature, good, determination, voluntary, choice, scholasticism, action
