Abstract

Should Jesus' death on the cross be understood as a sacrifice for sin? Yes. Jesus Christ saves the world from sin going to every wound caused by sin and repairing it by bringing God’s power. This is the modus operandi of the totality of Jesus’ life and ministry, including his death, wherein Jesus goes to the ultimate wound of sin—death—and repairs it by offering it to God.
