Abstract
The decision of why a particular investor or an individual chooses to invest his/her portion of income in financial market or stock market depends on their knowledge of capital markets and their attitude regarding stock-market investing. Also, it’s important to understand how investors seek information regarding their financial decision before they actually invest.
Such an investigation would reveal investors’ behaviour and uncover their cognitive aspect regarding their investment patter. This study explores and examines the role of self-efficacy in stock market involvement and participation and financial information-seeking behavior. Researcher also measures reliability and validity of self-financial efficacy model in Indian typology.
