Abstract

The Methodius script provides a multigraph compact and computer integrated phonetic alphabet covering key sounds of major modern languages. It aims to help codifying vernacular languages as well as providing a productivity tool for fictional languages authors. Its principal characteristic is extensive use of modifier letters building digraphs, trigraphs and multigraphs. The script also describes punctuation, capitalization and formats of numbers, date, time and scientific notations.
