Abstract

This report offers practical guidelines for conducting research in line with the DCED Standard for Measuring Results in Private Sector Development (PSD). The DCED Standard is a practical eight point framework for results measurement. It enables projects to monitor their progress towards their objectives and better measure, manage, and demonstrate results. As more programmes begin to implement the Standard, a growing need has emerged for guidance on how to conduct research in accordance with good practices, presented in an accessible and condensed form for the ready use of practitioners.
