Ecological crises are requiring all institutions to think more creatively about their approach. Art is playing an increasingly important role in his. Creative and aesthetic responses to the environment often give a fuller appreciation of whether we are in tune with its limits to tolerance of change or not. This paper discusses one leading example of how this is being institutionally embraced in the mainstream environment sector.
