Abstract

Spanish abstract: Presentamos una introducción a la teoría psicológica de la disonancia cognitiva según la exposición de Cooper, Mirabile y Sher (2005), subrayando su potencial explicativo para comprender los mecanismos de la mala fe y la autojustificación en la dinámica de grupos, y enfatizando sus dimensiones retrospectivas y su relación con la distorsión cognitiva post facto.

English abstract: This is an introduction to the psychological theory of cognitive dissonance as exposed by Cooper, Mirabile, and Sher (2005), underlining its potential to understand the mechanisms of bad faith and self-justification in group dynamics, and emphasizing its retrospective dimensions and its relationship to hindsight bias.
