Abstract

In the European Union, information flows may come under different shapes. They may work as gears of wider arrangements. They may exist as such. They may represent concerted practices. In each of these scenarios, then, information flows receive diverse "treatments."

This brief conference paper - written for the Antitrust & Information conference that Bocconi University organized in June 2014 - explains how and why E.U. competition law assesses the competitive impact of these three kinds of information flows.

Keywords: information, antitrust, competition, concerted practices, exchange, cartel
