There is a need to share the knowledge with students as there are socio-demographic differences between the students. There is strong critical importance of evidence-based approach to policy and practice in education and sharing knowledge to remove the obstacles between educational institutions and organizational structures. The need is felt as available knowledge is not fully being utilized in education field. It is observed that the people from industry have great influence on the environment in which young people grow up. So it is apt to integrate the sound knowledge of their actions, problem-solving and decision-making in education too. The effective knowledge sharing and learning between research, policy and practice along with practical case studies will enhance the efficiency of students. There are many literatures on bridging the gap between research, policy and practice, but integrating all these with stakeholders of educational institutions is the need of the day. Change is needed to bridge the gap between college and industries. But most important questions in this regard are ‘what’ and ‘How’.
