Abstract

Will Hutton’s (2015) "How Good We Can Be" is reviewed, with comparisons made to other recent works. The potential efficacy of Hutton’s recommendations concerning changes to the UK Companies Act are discussed, particularly in the light of the effectiveness of non-executive directors in regulating large companies.
