Abstract

Recent advancements in negative strategy have placed greater emphasis on the political process in college policy debate. This requires a better [and more complex] theoretical interpretations of fiat than the popular assumption infinite durability, or fiat ad infinitum. In order to address problems associated with fiat ad infinitum, I propose a new, contextualized understanding of fiat.
