Abstract

Fierstein’s new 534-page book offers a detailed account of a historic patent controversy: Polaroid’s battle to protect its landmark one-step instant camera, the SX-70, against Kodak's allegedly independently-developed PR-10 instant camera. Though lengthy and detailed, we highly recommend Fierstein’s book as a worthwhile read for all those engaged in any aspect of the patent system.
