Abstract

Currently the senior tourist market segment is becoming important because it has the strength and attractiveness for the tourism industry in two ways, namely spending power and lenght of stay. The senior group also have the intention for traveling to overseas, entertain themselves, and recreation. The main problem in this research is how the influence of motivation to satisfaction of senior tourists who traveled in Bali?. The theory underlying this study is motivation and satisfaction for traveling. This research was conducted in Bali island, involving 400 respondents. Data were analyzed by quantitative method obtained through surveys with research questionnaires. Analyzer used to confirm the model is a structural equation modeling or SEM-AMOS. The analysis showed that the motivation variable (push factor) affects no significant on satisfaction (overall satisfaction). However, the motivation variable towing (pull factor) significantly affected the satisfaction. Confirmatory driving motivation variable produced five indicators as follows: (1) to visit family and friends, (2) physical training / exercise, (3) improve the health and fitness, (4) meet people and socialize, (5) visit new places. Confirmatory against towing pull factor produced nine indicators as follows: (1) take advantage of vacation or leisure time, (2) transportation has grown especially to Bali, (3) the prices in Bali, (4) the nature of Bali, (5) various types of food and beverage in Bali, (6) the facilities and services for hotels in Bali, (7) health facilities in Bali, (8) the ease and service of the immigration procedures, and (9) the proximity from the country of origin. Whereas confirmatory satisfaction variable of senior tourists produced four indicators as follows: (1) the existing tourist attractions, (2) the trip from/to, (3) the availability of the facilities, and (4) the services during vacation
