Abstract
The article focuses on challenges faced by persons with disabilities (PWDs) in accessing employment in Uganda. Topics discussed include policies implemented by the Ugandan government in reducing disability discrimination in the workplace and providing equal opportunities, the challenges of social and economic development faced by PWDs in Uganda, and issues dealing with the lack of unemployment benefits in Uganda. It mentions United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
