Abstract
This paper is interested to introduce an alternative free trade agreement framework to promote the fast economic growth and the reduction of poverty in developing countries (DC’s). This new scheme of free trade agreement is called “The Micro-Free Trade Territory (MFTT)”. The main objective of MFTT is to generate jobs, poverty reduction programs, intra-regional trade facilitator programs, and direct technological transfer among DC’s. Basically, this paper is divided into five sections are: (i) the first section shows the introduction. In this section we did a deep review about multilateralism and regionalism such as free trade agreements schemes such as the Custom Union – CU – and Free Trade Agreements – FTA’s –; (ii) the second section is based on the analysis of trade liberalization literature review; (iii) third section, review the developmental affinities in regional integration. (iv) fourth section, we analyze the common problems hindering at the developing countries. (v) Finally this research paper presents the micro-free trade territory (MFTT) theoretical approach.
