Abstract

In economic literature, it is considered whether price squeezes constitute anticompetitive conduct requiring antitrust investigation. In this paper, I contemplate the intent element in exclusionary conduct. I posit that price squeezes should be prohibited, and that this should constitute an antitrust rule.

Keywords: price (margin) squeeze, downstream competition, exclusionary conduct
