Abstract
This paper focuses on Gandhi’s notion of a good society held that human beings are informed by the spirit of piety and recognizes their interdependence. They are ruled by moral and spiritual powers. They cherish plurality of cause, intuition, trust, and customs, and appreciate the individual’s require for independence. It places ethics at the centre of individual activities. The spirit of respect and broad-minded tolerance is the hallmark of a society that Gandhi helped us to see.
