Abstract

My paper points to the fact that the generation of innovations is very weakly financially supported all over the world, and even if innovations occur, the appropriate regulation lacks. In particular, the innovation doctrine in case of the control of concentrations in the European Union does not exist, and, in general, there are no research scholarships in antitrust aimed at promoting the adequate regulation of innovation – both in the United States and the European Union.

Keywords: innovation, antitrust, control of concentrations, New Economy, technological progress
