Abstract
English Abstract: In 2014, the European legislator has partly regulated collective rights management with its Directive on collective management of copyright and related rights and multi-territorial licensing of rights in musical works for online use in the internal market (2014/26/EU). The article first provides an overview of the developments leading up to the new rules for multi-territorial licensing in the Directive. In the second part, the article offers some perspectives on the implementation of the Directive in Denmark, especially regarding title II of Directive 2014/26/EU, which contains rules that concern the modalities for the governance and supervisory framework for all collective management organisations.
