Abstract

This essay critically reviews Jeremy Moss's 2014 book, Reassessing Egalitarianism. It argues that while Moss accurately reproduces many and sheds light on some of the extant debates between political philosophers with substantive egalitarian commitments of one sort or another, he does not do as much as he could and should have done to reorient these debates.

Keywords: equality, liberalism, egalitarianism, justice
