Abstract

Urdu Abstract: مسلمان اہل علم نے عموماً یہ موقف اپنایا ہے کہ تورات پوری کی پوری بیک وقت نازل ہوئی تھی۔ اس مقالے میں اس موضوع پر متعلقہ تفسیری مواد کے جائزے کے بعد یہ موقف پیش کیا گیا ہے کہ قرآن کریم کی طرح تورات کا نزول بھی تدریجاً ہوا

English Abstract: Muslim scholars have generally held that the Torah was revealed all at once on Prophet Musa [Moses] (peace be on him). The paper examines the relevant exegetical literature on this issue pertaining to the various verses of the Qur'an which are generally cited to substantiate this claim. It concludes that the Torah, like the Qur'an, was revealed gradually.
