Abstract

This article begins by discussing how environmental rule of law fits into the Post-2015 Development Agenda and then addresses various approaches to measure the environmental rule of law and specific activities the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources with the World Justice Project to measure and advance the environmental rule of law. The article then concludes with a call to environmental law practitioners globally to become engaged in the process of advancing this area of law and a well-accepted set of metrics.
