Abstract:
This paper analyzes the differential economic impact of broadband in Ecuador by considering education level and occupation by using comparable datasets from 2009 to 2013. It finds that introduction of services had impact in short periods but that it doesn't increase in medium term. It also finds that more educated people get a better impact from broadband than the others.
