Abstract

Dr Aislinn O’Donnell's ‘Teaching Children About World Religions and Ethics Could Help Counter Islamophobia’ appeared in The Irish Independent on 20 November 2015) at page 32. My article, 'After Paris' responds to O'Donnell's article. My discussion focuses on the relative value of education as a response to mass shootings, and also the great gulf that lies between our disconnected academic class and the popular mind.
