Although India is in the grip of HIV/AIDS epidemic, not much information is available on clinic – epidemiological and socio – behavioural aspects of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).The need to address the role of employment in the psychosocial adjustment of persons with HIV/AIDS has been consistently recognized in the clinical care and research literature. In this research study, 83 HIV/AIDS patients completed questionnaires assessing socio economic condition, psychological problems, awareness about AIDS among the respondents, mode of transmission of the AIDS patients. In AIDS related subjects many have done studies in various aspects of problem. But it is quiet clear that a very few had concentrated their Psycho Social problems. They seem to be affected either in direct or indirect way the future of the HIV/AIDS patients becomes vague and uncertain. This discussion would be a tool to some extent for the people who are interested in knowing whether they are equally treated or not and if no what kind of problem they are experiencing what can be done to rehabilitate those people in our nation. It is not only enough the preaching the HIV/AIDS patients are the greater treasure of any nation, those treasures should be preserved and taken care.
