Abstract
This chapter anchors its reflections on the law faculty in the university of the future with the truth about stories through the prism and promise of ‘stateless’ law. The paper begins with an exploration of the ‘law faculty’ and ‘stateless law’ to introduce the various approaches to thinking about stateless law throughout the book collection. These approaches are then juxtaposed with the legacy of residential schools for indigenous children in Canada. Van Praagh underscores the importance of our inter-generational storytelling because appreciation of our history combined with creativity vis-à-vis what lies ahead characterizes the potential of teaching with stateless law sensibility.
