Abstract

This report represents the findings to the research question “How can the government and civil service integrate wellbeing into new public policy?” This report outlines three methods that can be used by various actors to integrate wellbeing research into future policies. These methods are based on three principles of wellbeing: quantified wellbeing is still too crude to be used in policy creation and analysis; responsibility for wellbeing should be devolved as far as possible; and mental health is the most important factor that influences wellbeing.
