Spanish abstract: Comentamos algunos aspectos ideológicos y teatrales de la comedia de Shakespeare 'El Mercader de Venecia', en especial sobre la adaptación de 2004 de Michael Radford, y comentamos cuestiones de identificación y evaluación en lo referente a cuestiones problemáticas de la obra, en especial el antisemitismo.

English abstract: A commentary of some ideological and theatrical aspects of Shakespeare's comedy 'The Merchant of Venice', with particular reference to Michael Radford's 2004 film adaptation, and to matters of identification and evaluation as regards problematic issues in the play, particularly antisemitism.
