Abstract

“Marriage Is Not For Sexual Pleasure; It Is For Spiritual Pleasure Under Hindu Law. It Is A Means To Attain ‘Moksha’ And Make A Person Immortal.”

Marriage is one of the most important “Sanskara” for Hindu. It is responsibility of parents of a daughter to get her married. It is because of marriage the children are born and where a putra (Putra -- Those who die without children go to the hell and he who saves one from this hell is called putra) is considered to be necessary to attain the moksha.
