One of the issues that emerge with the concept of creative industries are the implications that I has for areas already consolidated. Seeking to reflect on this issue, this paper proposes some thematic research for the audiovisual sector in Brazil from the conceptual perspective of the creative industries. The text reviews the concepts of creative industries, creative economy or other concepts, because it is believed that good conceptual syntheses have been produced for this purpose, the same goes for the audiovisual. Instead, the article summarizes the concepts of creative industries and audiovisual, to then suggest studies to work with the two terms and concentrate on the search for a greater understanding of: a) creating processes and production in audiovisual industries; b) inter-relationship between creative processes and management; c) creative processes versus routine; d) the audiovisual as a source of entrepreneurship; e) development and implications of the concept of creative industries for focused audiovisual policies; f) conditions and labor relations in the audiovisual sector.
