Abstract

This essay is the Introduction to Robot Law (Ryan Calo, A. Michael Froomkin & Ian Kerr, eds.). The essay summarizes the contributions from scholars from law, engineering, computer science and philosophy who each provide original contributions on topics such as liability, warfare, domestic law enforcement, personhood in the face of development in robotics. It also asks whether the development of Robot Law can learn a few things from the development of Internet Law before it.
