Abstract
“Reverse racism” is a phenomenon where whites believe that they are as discriminated against or even more discriminated against because of their race than blacks or other racial minorities. Recent research suggests that many more whites believe they suffer from reverse racism than one might imagine. I suggest that one of the keys to billionaire Donald Trump’s success in his race for the Republican presidential nomination is that he has tapped into the victimhood that many white Republicans feel, whether justified or unjustified.
