Abstract
Today’s youth is highly fascinated by the new technology and the utility of the electronic devices. The electronic gadgets have become the most important part of their life and they are dependent on it for so many things. From using it for learning and fun activity but now days the idea behind the gadgets is not only restricted to the calling and mailing or surfing rather; it is beyond that the apps developed by many new online shopping companies are indulge in attracting and motivating the youth’s to shop online, and make them satisfy by providing a good service (home delivery as well as options like COD etc.) and offering a good discounts on particular products. Online shopping is a new or modern technique of purchasing goods.
The research paper is covering the factors that influence the online consumer behavior of youth and the problems faced by them while purchasing online electronic gadgets. The research paper also throws light on the preferences of the online consumers while purchasing the product. A questionnaire was designed online, since the research was an online consumer behavior study, online data collection methods were preferred. The link of the questionnaire has been sent online between February, 2016. The sample size was 65. The sample consisted of youth of different colleges of Nashik City.
