Abstract

This is an edited transcript of a panel debate held in London on 22 October 2015 as part of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators' centenary celebrations. Julio César Betancourt talks about the use of international arbitration guidelines (in general) and Tim Hardy, Simon Nesbitt QC and Paul Klaas engage in a panel discussion concerning the Institute's revised guidelines, namely 1) Guideline on Jurisdictional Challenges, 2) Guideline on Applications for Interim Measures and 3) Guideline on Applications for Security for Costs.
