Abstract

This contribution to the Irish competition law scholarship is welcome for its technical expertise and for its thought-provoking insights into the inner workings of the evolving world of competition law enforcement in Ireland. It is jointly authored throughout and each of the chapters benefit from the different perspectives offered by each of the authors (one economist and two lawyers). The approach is to present a ‘warts and all’ view of the law and practice as it stands, and the authors produce a comprehensive analytical work which provides concise yet detailed insights into the many moving parts of competition law and practice in Ireland.
