Abstract

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 was passed to address grave prejudices and discrimination against individuals with disabilities. This overview considers the primary elements to proving a case for discrimination under the ADA with reference to published district court and appellate court decisions from the Eighth Circuit.
