Abstract
Motivated by my interest in CEO and corporate finance, I write this paper to find the relationship between CEO power and corporate performance. According to different literature hypothesis, the CEO power plays a complicated role in modern corporations. My result, which is based on different measurement of degree of CEO dominance and statistical regression, shows that industry classification is very crucial to investigate the correlation between CEO power and corporate performance.
