Abstract

The Government of India Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has requested input regarding its Discussion Paper on Standard Essential Patents and Their Availability on FRAND Terms (March 1, 2016). This Response offers a series of balanced and neutral recommendations in a range of areas for the DIPP's consideration.
