Abstract

This book chapter, co-authored by Elizabeth Cooper and Kathleen Powderly, addresses the ethical, legal and policy considerations faced by health care providers as they seek to care for women and children living with HIV. The authors address some of the most compelling issues of the time: Confidentiality, Mandatory Testing, Contact Tracing and Notification, Disclosure, and Access to Health Care - including access to Clinical Drug Trials.
