Sociology is entering its second Century. Curiosity in examining biological underpinnings of organisational psychosociological phenomena has existed for some time. Recent years have appreciated an increased interest in such research. Emerging research illustrates by what means neuroscientific research and model inform organisational Sociology. Advances in science have been inspired by emergence of new tools and research methods in addition to diffusion of concepts and theories from related - disciplines. Current findings in brain research have led to appearance of, ‘Social Neuroscience’, based on integration of Social Psychology and Neuroscience. Basic research that integrates biological, psychological, and sociocultural levels of analysis has become imperative. This call for theoretical synthesis that overcomes fragmentation and specialisation within organisational sciences as a hybrid field devoted to understanding how biological systems implement organisational processes and behaviour.
