Abstract

India introduced a tourist e-visa policy on November 27th, 2014 overriding its already existing Tourist Visa on Arrival Policy. Yet, the success of the policy remains questionable. In this paper, we investigate the design and implementation of the policy, and provide recommendations which can help the Indian government help reap greater benefits from this policy.
